Working to the guidance of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Lilypads provides children with a range of activities and experiences which encourage them to learn whilst they play and explore. Play is essential for all aspects of a child’s development and well being and the more they play the more they learn. Lilypads provide opportunities for children to learn about themselves and others using a balance of child initiated and adult led activities to support their individual development and needs. The skills children learn and practise in the early years lay the foundations for academic success in the future.
